He would like to call it an emotional rollercoaster. Except he never was a fan of rollercoasters.

Carousels and ferris wheels he enjoyed. Haunted houses. Flume rides. Bumper cars.

Cotton candy was his favorite, right next to kettle corn. Normal popcorn always stuck to his molars or the roof of his mouth.

And there was something frightening about the tents and booths that were set up. Frightening but intriguing. He was always drawn to them, parting the entrance flaps to the tents or peaking into booths, oversized animals hanging limply from hooks on bars.

But he was never a fan of rollercoasters.
